Saturday Hubby was on 7am duty so I could sleep. But goodness he was a happy boy for being woken up. figured he will have to get up at that time for school anyway. But we figured out after a couple days that he was already awake by the time he did go, and just didn't go to the bathroom. (by the way I just bought a new bag, isn't that the way it works, hee hee) And we are now in the next phase, Ready or Not!ġst day was great, he woke up dry and went straight to the bathroom. So let it be so.Bob the Builders No More. Not sure what the reason really, but at some point during all the clean up, Lil'veg just screamed "I don't want my Bob the Builders any more" (his pull ups) He was only wearing them at bed time and sometimes nap time anyway. (Ok don't need to pee to take a shower) Hubby said it was because he was getting too comfortable with the Pull-Ups and getting Lazy. and one day he did that he said it was because he wanted to take a shower. When we ask why, he says he was trying to make his tummy feel better. One day knowing he was wearing underwear, he sat in his bed and just peed. He hasn't done that in months, so I couldn't figure out why this was happening, outside of stress of things changing around here. All things he would normally come out of his room for and use the toilet. Or going pee so much that he'd overflow the pull ups. Or going in his room saying he wanted a nap and then going #2 in his Pull Ups. But last week even at relax time he started having messes again. In my mind, waking up to go to the bathroom is not a learned behavior, and eventually his body would be ready for that. Not the accidents that we expected, but the on purpose (I don't want to get out of bed yet) messes.Īnd actually I wasn't even stressing about bed time, I mean I just figured some day he would wake up dry and we would be in to the next stage. I think its been stressful on all of us, but the hard part has been. Lil'Veg is no longer wearing Pull Ups to bed and we've had quite a few messes and problems the past couple weeks.
